HOW DOES TUTOR.COM WORK?

Tutor.com is a free online learning station (Sponsored by the City of Safford - Graham Country Library with funding from United Way), featuring a network of tutors ready to help one on one in any subject and grade level! Several resources, including exam paper and homework review, test preparation and GED prep are also available!

Live Homework Help Center is available from 2 PM to midnight daily. Career, resume, GED and Proof Point help are available 24/7. You don't need a library card to use this service! Go to www.cityofsafford.us/359/Tutor.com and just use your zip code as the password.

GIFT Application Open to Apply Now!

Gila Institute for Technology


The GIFT applications are now open for the 2019-20 school year. Apply online as soon as you can to ensure your spot in that program.

Steps:

  1. Go to gift-tech.org
  2. Click to Apply
  3. Apply online
  4. Create a user name and password for the GIFT site
  5. Fill out application for the program you want to be in
  6. When completed – print
  7. Have parents sign
  8. Bring into me so Ms. Ferber can add/sign off for all the counselors items.
  9. I will email it to the GIFT office to have a backup of all your paperwork.

*Note – if students have not taken the EAC Placement Tests (Accuplacer) they need to see me to sign up for a date.

If students have not tested yet: Here is the Accuplacer Study Guide link. Study that before testing to help your scores.
